The crippling sanctions as a result of the maximum pressure policy imposed against Iran since former president Trump’s administration pulled out of the JCPOC, have placed Tehran on the defensive and suffocated the Iranian economy, however, it has has failed to reverse the growing Iranian influence in the region.
