Lebanon Might Finally Be Getting Its First Costco

Lebanon could be getting its first Costco, the global membership-based retailer known for bulk products at discounted prices.

Costco operates hundreds of stores worldwide, where members pay an annual fee to access everything from groceries and electronics to household goods, often at prices lower than traditional retailers.

The news surfaced after the Gherbal Initiative reported that Price Costco International Inc. registered the “COSTCO” trademark in Lebanon, which was published in the Official Gazette and confirmed by 961.

While a trademark filing doesn’t guarantee a store opening, it’s a strong sign that Costco may be preparing to enter the Lebanese market.
