One of Beirut’s most iconic hotels, Le Gray, is finally making a comeback after being closed for more than four years.

The hotel shut its doors in 2020 following the Beirut port explosion, which caused extensive damage. Since then, it has remained closed, undergoing renovations while Lebanon faced one crisis after another.

Last year, before the regional conflict escalated, the hotel put up a large branded covering on its facade, teasing its reopening.

Now, Le Gray has launched ad campaigns across Facebook and Instagram announcing its long-awaited return. While the exact reopening date hasn’t been revealed yet, this marks the first public confirmation that the hotel will soon welcome guests again.

We reached out to Le Gray for comment, but they have not responded.

The reopening of Le Gray is set to bring new energy to Downtown Beirut, where the hotel has long been considered a symbol of luxury and modern hospitality in Lebanon.
