After a 170-hour nonstop Christmas recital from December 16 to 23, Lebanon just gained a Guinness World Record.

Singing Emmanuel, the recital organized by Sandra Akiki, took place at the Sacred Hearts School in Kfardebian.

At all times during the 7 days, at least 12 people were in attendance, each piece lasted at least 2 minutes, and transitions didn’t exceed 20 seconds – requirements to be eligible.

The recital ran day and night with no breaks, featuring soloists, choirs, artists, and anyone who wanted to sing Christmas hymns.
