Turkey’s election board has ruled in favor of a rerun of the election for Istanbul mayor, according to the state-run Anadolu news agency, weeks after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s Justice and Development Party, known as AKP, suffered a setback when it lost the mayoral race by a razor thin margin.
