CMA CGM Just Changed Fattal’s Name After Acquiring It

One of Lebanon’s most recognizable business names has officially changed.

Fattal Group is now TAMINA, following its acquisition by CMA CGM earlier this year.

The new name was announced by CMA CGM on October 1, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the long-standing Lebanese company.

According to CMA CGM, the name TAMINA is inspired by the Arabic word for “precious,” reflecting the value the company places on its people, partners, customers, and the brands it represents.

Despite the name change, the business itself continues operating as a major distributor across the region, with Fattal’s existing operations now under the TAMINA name.

After more than a century carrying the Fattal name, it’s officially TAMINA from here on out.
