Lebanon faces new crisis with Gulf states over FM’s comments

Lebanese officials Tuesday scrambled to stave off the grave consequences of a new strain with Arab Gulf states following critical comments by the caretaker foreign minister who accused these states of being behind the rise the Islamic State [Daesh] in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
