Trial of Iranian ex-official over 1988 executions opens in Sweden

A former Iranian prison official accused of involvement in the 1988 execution of thousands of political dissidents arrived in court in Sweden on Tuesday at the start of a landmark case likely to stoke tensions in the Islamic republic.
