‘Lord have mercy on us’: Lebanese expert in COVID-19 spike warning

Lebanon recorded 1,817 new COVID-19 cases and four deaths in the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry reported Thursday, as a top expert warned that battered hospitals would not soon be able to cope with a recent spike in infections.
