Amal breaks ranks with Hezbollah, calls for govt of specialists

The Amal Movement headed by Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri Monday broke ranks with its Shiite ally, Hezbollah, by insisting on the formation of a Cabinet of nonpartisan specialists, implicitly rejecting Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah’s proposal for a techno-political government.
