Italy, UNESCO back Sursock Museum restoration

Responding to the call for support from UNESCO’s Li Beirut initiative, which aims to raise 300 million euros to help restore schools, heritage and cultural sites around Beirut damaged by the Aug. 4 blast, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation will work alongside UNESCO to help in the museum’s second phase of reconstruction.
