Mikati pledges to implement reforms, quick talks with IMF on rescue package

Prime Minister Najib Mikati Monday pledged to immediately resume negotiations with the International Monetary Fund on a bailout package shortly before his new government was set to win a vote of confidence in Parliament, underlining the IMF’s role in rescuing the crises-hit country from its worst economic meltdown in history.
