The well-love Lebanese restaurant Zaatar w Zeit has just signed a franchising agreement with Indian food and beverage experts, Passion Cuisine. The eatery is set to open its first branch in Mumbai during the first quarter of 2025.
Let’s go back to when it all started. Zaatar w Zeit first opened in Lebanon in 1999. Since then, it has expanded across the world with over 70 outlets, some of which are in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, and even Canada.
Taking the Lebanese flavors into India marks a significant milestone for the company, as it is showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Lebanon to a new and diverse audience while expanding its global footprint and embracing new market opportunities.
The Mumbai branch will not only offer a variety of Zaatar w Zeit’s signature dishes, such as their famous za’atar manakeesh, but they will cater with a range of fresh salads, wraps, and beverages.
