Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah Confirmed Dead

Hassan Nasrallah was confirmed dead following an Israeli attack on the Dahye neighborhood in Beirut.

Israel deployed bunker-busting bombs on the Dahye neighborhood in Beirut, targeting what it claims to be an underground Hezbollah headquarters located under residential buildings. Following the initial strikes, many secondaries were heard going off.

The decision to carry out the assassination of Nasrallah was taken a week prior during a meeting of the Security and Political Council.

Nasrallah, along with a number of his top deputies, were on a quick visit to Beirut. A former intel chief confirmed that the strike was only authorized after confirmation of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah’s presence there.
