Lebanon has made it to the world stage of esports. Nigma Galaxy just locked in a Top 8 finish at The International 2025 in Hamburg, earning a spot in the Playoffs and a shot at more than $2.5 million.
Leading the charge are 3 Lebanese pros: Maroun “GH” Merhej, Omar “OmaR” Moughrabi, and Tony “No!ob” Assaf, alongside German veteran Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi and Pakistani star Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan.
The team pulled off a thrilling 2-1 reverse sweep against Aurora Gaming to advance. They’ll now compete on the main stage of Hamburg’s Barclaycard Arena, the biggest spotlight in Dota 2.
