A new Instagram page is putting reckless drivers on blast, and it’s already getting attention.

The account, Instagram handle @shilomenidak, is on a mission to make people think twice before picking up their phones behind the wheel.

Their bio says it all: “Your DMs can survive the 10-minute drive.”

“Shilo men idak”, meaning “remove it from your hand”, is calling out drivers who text and drive, by posting photos and videos of them publicly. It’s blunt, and that’s the point.

And honestly, it’s targeting a problem that’s only getting worse.

Texting and driving has become one of the most common and dangerous habits on the road. It’s something almost everyone has seen, from cars swerving between lanes to drivers completely glued to their screens.

In just two weeks, the page has already shared 10 posts. The content ranges from trailer truck drivers to motorcyclists, and everything in between.

So far, it doesn’t look like they’ll be running out of material anytime soon.

Whether people agree with the approach or not, one thing is clear. The page is trying to force accountability in a place where it’s often missing.

And if it gets even a few drivers to put their phones down, it might just make the roads a bit safer.
